Yes. Our freestanding system uses tall poles secured to heavy weighted bases, so we can hang warm-white string lights over lawns, patios, courtyards and other open spaces without attaching anything to trees, tents or buildings.
We plan the pole locations and lighting runs around your site and the areas guests will use.
Freestanding string light setups are custom quoted because every site and layout is different. We price the complete installed system—not just loose light strands.

Yes. Our wedding string light rentals work well for outdoor ceremonies, receptions, backyard weddings and other evening events.
They are especially effective above dining tables, dance floors, cocktail areas and mingling spaces, where warm overhead light helps the main gathering area feel defined and finished after dark.
Perimeter lighting frames one area, such as a dance floor, patio or cocktail space. Parallel runs provide more even overhead coverage above dining tables and reception areas. Large, wide or irregular sites may need a custom layout.
We size the setup from actual measurements, a site plan or clear photos. Guest count alone is not enough to determine the correct layout.
String lights add a warm overhead glow and help guests see the main dining, dancing and mingling areas after dark.
They may not provide enough light for paths, stairs, parking, catering work areas or lighting required by the venue. We will flag any areas that may need separate work or safety lighting.
Most setups use a standard 120V outlet. We need to know where the outlet is and whether other equipment will use the same power source so we can plan the cable route and power requirements.
If the site does not have reliable power nearby, tell us before we prepare the quote.
Outdoor installations are weather-dependent. High winds, heavy rain, standing water, waterlogged ground or other unsafe conditions may require us to change the layout, delay setup, turn the system off or remove it.
We make the final decision based on the site conditions and safety.
Firm, reasonably level grass, concrete, asphalt and many paved surfaces may work. Soft, muddy, steep or uneven areas may not be suitable.
Each weighted base remains visible and needs a clear, level space away from doors, walkways and emergency exits. Send clear site photos if you are unsure about the setup area.
No. Our string light poles and weighted bases are available only as part of a complete, professionally installed lighting service.
Our crew handles delivery, setup, testing, takedown and pickup. Customer pickup and self-installation are not offered.
For event rentals, bistro lights, café lights and string lights usually describe the same style of warm-white bulb lights hung overhead.
Fairy lights are different. They use much smaller LEDs and are mainly used for decorative sparkle. Our freestanding service uses warm-white café-style string lights.
Freestanding string lights use weighted poles, so they can be installed in open spaces with no overhead support.

Delivery pricing depends on your venue location, access (stairs/elevator), and timing. Send your address and event times and we’ll confirm the delivery fee in your quote.
Book as soon as your date and venue are confirmed, especially for Saturdays and events from May through September.

Your date is secured once you approve the quote and pay the 50% reservation deposit. The balance is due 7 days before the event.
